Horse Program!!!

Logistics
Where are the horses? There is a small pasture cleared and fenced on the east side of our property.

Where are the trails? there are nice trails that run north and west from the pasture on MLGC's property.  Some of these trails run through a beautiful valley with steep hills. There are also lots of trails north of our property that we made while we leased that land.  we are making more trails at the west end of our property as well.

Who is taking care of the program? Cliff Mutch has been hired as the Wrangler. He will be responsible for the care of the horses and the instruction to the campers about proper trial riding skills. Caroline Snyder is the assistant wrangler and her love for horses is obvious. She even brings a couple horses of her own to camp.

How does the program work? During the camps, one or two cabins per day get to go trail riding. This way the horses will not get over worked and everyone rotates days. During family camp we will have a sign up sheet for four trail rides per day.
