Moose Lake Gospel Camp Staff
Each week at Moose Lake is unique. We run programs that cater to different age groups and interests. For this reason the board members select qualified directors to oversee one week at a time. Counselors (cabin leaders) are usually long time Moose Lakers and are hand picked by the directors in order to provide the best possible program. The profiles of the directors and speakers can be found on the information pages pertaining to the specific camp.
Full Time Staff:
Manager/ Registrar: Clayton & Christina Mutch.
Moose Lake is a special place for Clayton & Christina. They have attended Moose lake all their lives, met at the camp and even got married on the grounds. Clayton has been the manager since 1996. Christina has her Bachelors Degree
in Biblical Studies and is currently a hair stylist. Clayton recently graduated from Regent College where he received a Masters Degree in Christianity and Culture and is currently the Pastor of the Glendon Evangelical Church.
Cooks: Faith Warkentine & Lea Arin Warkentine.
Faith can definitely take the heat in the Kitchen! She always fills the dinning hall with laughter as she makes the most delicious meals. Faith has had the most important job at camp since the summer of 2007.
Gratis Coordinator: Rayleen Nicolajsen
Rayleen has also been a long time Moose Laker and loves being out at camp all summer. She is currently attending the U of A pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree. Rayleen is not afraid to tell people how to do their gratis properly! She must get that from her Dad!
Wrangler: Cliff Mutch has been hired as the Wrangler. He is responsible for the care of the horses and the instruction to the campers about proper trial riding skills.
Cliff and Mary Del: Although they are not official staff members they have volunteered for over thirty years at the camp. Each year Mary Del jokes that it is her last year but she is always the first to arrive and the last to leave. She pretends that Cliff drags her to camp but we know that that is far from the truth. Cliff and Mary Del have served in every position imaginable and they can be spotted playing late night games with the senior teens and in the morning they are the ones cleaning up Nathan's mess. Thanks for all your work and dedication.
